I have surrounded myself with a lot of things lately that have filled my life with happiness.
The soon to be wedding {3 days}, family, friends, puppies and of course my fiancee!
& all of this has made my life seem a little more enjoyable and has also made me feel a little more daring.
So with all of this happiness and joy inside of me I decided to take a leap, a giant one, out of my comfort box and expand my photography!
Now before you freak out I will always have Muddy Paw! It’s my love, my joy, my passion!
But I want to do more!
So let me take the time to officially announce the start, well a working start, of Lexi Vornberg Photography!
{And yes I know I still have three days till that is officially my name but I got permission from the fiancee.}
I will now specialize in seniors, engagements and models.

Camp Bow Wow Sneak Peek

{Here is a quick sneak peak of a project I am working on with Camp Bow Wow of Cincinnati}
Camp Bow Wow is a GREAT! place to board your dog.
Not only will he/she have a personal cabin and a treat before they drift off to sleep but during the day they get to play with the daycare pups in a supervised indoor/outdoor play area!
{And the girls who supervise are the best!!}
Even if your not boarding you dog, doggy day care is a great way to socialize your pup and let them get the exercise they deserve before they come home to nap!
Camp Bow Wow is also home of the best trainers in Cincinnati, Virginia Simpson and Mike Dixon with Unleashed Canine Obedience!!

Camp Bow Wow also offers plenty of events during the year which benefit local shelters and rescues!!

Mele (studio)

Here are some sneak peeks from Mele’s studio session!
Mele thought that playing in the studio would be fun, and o-boy was it!
We played around with three different colored backgrounds and Mele was a pro at modeling in front of all of them.

Mele is a lab/greyhound mix who loves! treats and attention!

Newman

I want to take this opportunity to announce a personal project that was actually inspired by this little pup here.
You see this is Newman.
Newman is a member down at Wags Park and comes down pretty frequently.
Newman loves to swim, run, play and fetch just like any other dog, but unlike every other dog, Newman is deaf.
Thousands of deaf dogs are born each year and are disregarded because of their disability or because they may need a little more attention than another dog.
In an attempt to raise awareness about deaf dogs and how they can be as great a companion as any other dog, I am asking anyone who owns a deaf dog in the Cincinnati area
who is willing to allow me to take pictures of their pup to contact me with their name, location, dogs name and breed.

Raquel & Ethan

I guess there is a first time for everything, even if that includes a dog photographer not photographing dogs?
Tonight I had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Raquel and her man Ethan over at Ault Park.
It defiantly was a differnet experience, I mean not crawling on the ground chasing a dog, but I did have fun.

I just want to say I had a blast doing my first Wags Mini Sessions last Saturday & I hope the nine wonderful dogs I photographed enjoyed them self’s as well.
{And their parents too!}
We are at our last sneak peek but as always we saved the best for last!
{Here is a little chocolate treat!}
First I want to say that labs are one of the best dogs ever, that’s probably why that are the number one dog owned in America.
But see I LOVE labs not because their wonderful companions, loyal or know how to play fetch, but because of their facial expressions.
I love capturing the emotion in labs faces, maybe that’s why I can’t stop photographing JD.
Well this hansom chocolate above is Luke and the cute little mix below is Pete.
{Don’t worry Pete, mutts are awesome too!!}

Baloo was the first of our afternoon mini sessions and let me tell you by then it was getting hot.
But that didn’t stop Baloo from wanting to enjoy the day.

I love!! these next three. Baloo had such a great personality!
I think Baloo was really happy to jump into the water, I wish I could have joined him.

I had a blast photographing these two, I think it’s because I absolutely LOVE! bully breeds.
I mean who could resist a pitty face??
